Fleet & Construction Equipment Bulk Buyout Guide — Sell 5+ Trucks or Machines for Cash in Arkansas
Arkansas-based buyer since 2026. One inspection, one settlement, one statewide pickup — no auction fees, no listing photos, no tire-kickers. We handle paperwork (including the Arkansas bonded-title route) and pay same-day.
Why fleet sell-offs go sideways — and what this guide fixes
If you run a contracting outfit, a municipal yard, a logging operation, or a family farm with a back lot full of retired iron, you already know the problem: the trucks and machines are worth money, but extracting that money costs time you don't have. Posting fifteen units on Marketplace creates fifteen tire-kickers, twenty lowball texts, and a string of no-shows. Sending a fleet to auction means waiting weeks, paying 10–15% in seller fees, and accepting whatever the room says on Tuesday.
A bulk buyout collapses all of that into one transaction. One Arkansas Junk Truck Buyers rep walks the yard, prices every unit on the spot, cuts a single settlement, and we haul everything off with our own lowboy and rollback. You get paid this week, not next quarter. This guide explains exactly how to prepare so the offer comes in as high as possible.
See Fleet & Bulk Buyout Service →What counts as a “bulk buyout”?
For us, a bulk buyout starts at five units — any mix of trucks and heavy equipment, running or not, titled or not. The five-unit floor is what justifies sending a rep and a transport rig to your location at no charge. Below that threshold, single-unit pricing on the Sell Your Truck and Sell Heavy Equipment pages still applies — and we still come pick it up free.
Bulk buyout vs. auction vs. piecemeal: the real numbers
| Path | Time to cash | Seller fees | Hauling burden | Effort on you |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AR Junk Truck Buyers — Bulk Buyout | Same day after walkthrough | $0 — we are the buyer | Free, our lowboy + rollback | ~1 hour walkthrough |
| Live or online auction | 3–8 weeks after consignment | 8–15% seller commission + listing | You pay to deliver to lot | Photos, listings, no-reserve risk |
| Marketplace / piecemeal | Weeks to months per unit | $0 cash, but heavy time cost | Buyer-dependent (often you) | Tire-kickers, no-shows, scams |
| Trade-in to dealer | Only if buying new | Discounted wholesale book | You deliver | Tied to a new-unit purchase |

The Arkansas Junk Truck Buyers Bulk Buyout Method
- 01 · Yard ListYou send us a spreadsheet, a phone video, or just a list of make/model/year/condition. We give a written value range within one business day — no commitment.
- 02 · On-Site WalkthroughA rep drives to your yard — Faulkner, Pulaski, Saline, Washington, Sebastian, Craighead, any of the 75 counties — and prices every unit in front of you with notes you can keep.
- 03 · One SettlementAccept the bundle number and we settle: cash on the spot up to $5,000, cashier's check, wire, or Zelle above that. Same day, every time.
- 04 · Staged PickupOur lowboy + rollback handle the haul on a schedule that fits your operation. Titles signed, bills of sale issued, bonded-title route opened on anything missing paperwork.
How to prep your yard so the offer comes in high
1. Build a one-page unit list
For each unit: year, make, model, mileage or hours, engine status (runs / cranks / dead), title status, location on the lot, and one obvious flaw (blown turbo, rusted bed, missing hood). That's it. We do the diligence — the list just makes the walkthrough efficient.
2. Pull plates & personal effects
Arkansas tags go back to OMV. Pull tool boxes, fuel cards, ELD modules, GPS pucks, and DOT decals you don't want passed to a new operator. Leave the keys with the unit if you have them.
3. Group runners vs. non-runners
Park runners on one side, dead units on the other. Runners load on the rollback in minutes. Non-runners need winching — staging them in the open saves hours and gets reflected in the bundle price.
4. Gather every scrap of paperwork
Titles, last registrations, old bills of sale, MSOs on yellow iron, even mechanic invoices. Missing a title? See No-Title Truck Help and the Arkansas no-title sale guide. We routinely handle the bonded route.
Paperwork, payment, and the legal close
We're based at 212 N Broadview St, Greenbrier — but the close happens at your yard. Every transaction includes a written bill of sale, a per-unit condition note, and a signed buyer release. For titled units we sign over and submit to OMV; for missing-title units we open the Arkansas bonded-title route on our dime. You walk away clean.
Payment scales with the deal: cash on the spot up to $5,000, cashier's check, ACH/wire, or Zelle above that. We've structured buyouts as a single lump, as a per-unit ledger, and as a staged settlement when a contractor wanted the units gone before the books closed for the quarter. Read the Payment & Pickup Process page for the full breakdown.
Who actually calls us for bulk buyouts
- General contractors winding down a project — Conway, Little Rock, and Bentonville GCs liquidating yard equipment after a large job wraps.
- Municipal & utility fleets rotating retired Class 6–8 units, dump bodies, and bucket trucks out of service.
- Family farms consolidating after a sale — combines, tractors, gooseneck trailers, plus the work-truck row behind the shop.
- Estate & bank-foreclosure cleanouts where executors need everything off the property before closing.
- Storm-loss inventory — see storm-damaged truck buyer for the Arkansas hail/flood path.
- Operators relocating out of NWA, Fort Smith, or Jonesboro who don't want to truck old iron across state lines.
